About Second Voice
Families want their parents' stories, but the usual approach asks an older adult to open an email and type an essay. Too often, the prompt goes unanswered and everyone feels guilty about it.
Second Voice replaces homework with a phone call. A thoughtful interviewer asks one question, listens, and follows the thread. The conversation becomes a lightly edited chapter while the original recording preserves the laugh, cadence, pauses, and accent that text cannot hold.
Our purpose is simple: help families ask while there is still time, without turning remembrance into another task to manage.
Begin with one conversation.
Give your parent a year of weekly calls and give your family the stories in their own voice.
